Hi everyone! So, I’m sure you all know by now that I’ve been back in the states for a little over a month. Towards the end of the race, I began praying over my next steps and after many confirmations from the Lord, I decided to apply for a program at Adventures in Missions called CGA (Center for Global Action). This is a discipleship program designed for alumni racers; to be more specific, this five-month long program focuses on inner transformation, leadership development, and discipleship. During my time at CGA, I will practice living radically for Jesus back in the States. We will have classes each morning that focus on our identity in Christ, living in and creating community, having healthy relationships, studying the Word, intimacy with God, and understanding and living out our callings. We are also encouraged to get part-time jobs so we can practice what it means to live missionally in day-to-day life.

My time on the World Race showed me just a glimpse into what it means to be a follower of Jesus and I just can’t get enough. I learned just how much I valued living in a community with others who are earnestly seeking after the Father. I am so hungry to grow in a deeper understanding of the Bible and how it continues to apply to life today. I also feel called to leadership and want to grow in what it means to lead from a place of dependence upon the Holy Spirit. I am so excited for what these next few months have in store and would love your support!
